The Dining Room at The House - Van Buuren Museum & Gardens is a stunning space that showcases the elegance of Art Deco design. Featuring exquisite white Jerusalem sycamore with accents of Macassar ebony, the room is furnished with custom pieces from renowned Belgian cabinetmaker Joseph Wynants. A striking tapestry by Jaap Gidding, depicting the four elements, hangs above a sideboard with a luxurious Labrador marble top. The room is adorned with five unique rugs created by French artist Maurice Dufrêne, enhancing its artistic ambiance. Three white glass light fixtures, encircled with stained glass from the Amsterdam School, illuminate the space, while six still lifes commissioned from Gustave Van de Woestyne complete the decor.
