Africa Moment'21 is the fifth edition of the International Meeting of Live Arts, taking place in Madrid and Barcelona. This unprecedented edition features a dual itinerary showcasing innovative and high-quality artistic proposals from leading figures in the international contemporary scene. In Madrid, the event will be held from November 25 to 28 at Naves del Español in Matadero, and in Barcelona from November 29 to December 19. For the second year, Africa Moment'21 will offer a training program for professionals and a digital section with content accessible worldwide, alongside its usual program of artistic residencies and scholarships. The event aims to create spaces for reflection and creation through the body, transforming the performing arts sector towards cultural diversity and inclusion. It focuses on research, exchange, and creation processes, promoting hybrid formats that blend sound, performance, and visual arts. New works by both national and international artists will be produced and premiered, later distributed in performing arts circuits across the country.
