The Underglobe
The Underglobe is situated beneath the iconic Globe theatre on London's picturesque Bankside. By day it plays host to the Globe's Shakespeare exhibition, but as the evening draws in it comes alive as one of London's most exciting hidden event spaces. With an exclusive riverside entrance, private mezzanine level for arrival drinks and a sweeping staircase, the venue also features a built in stage, high-spec sound, lighting and projection systems and a full sized model oak tree. We can host up to 450 guests for award ceremonies, gala dinners, weddings, parties and fundraisers.
The Balcony Room
Located on the top floor of Swan, the Balcony Room is a beautiful and versatile event space which looks out onto St. Paul's Cathedral, the River Thames and the Globe theatre. A private balcony, accessible through large French windows allows guests to take in the panoramic views of London. Elegant panelled walls, a dark wood floor and a bespoke statement chandelier are all features of this space in addition to a private bar, cloakroom and bathrooms. This space can be hired for breakfast and day meetings, lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions and parties and is also fully licensed for weddings.

Situated within the main restaurant, the River Room at Swan, Shakespeare's Globe benefits from 180 degree views of the River Thames, St. Paul's Cathedral and the City of London. Elegant copper and glass screens offer guests privacy, whilst allowing them to enjoy the atmosphere of the main restaurant. Bespoke glass chandeliers and ceramic sheep and goat wall art lend a quirky feel to this space. Up to 40 guests can dine comfortably in this space.

A unique mural gives its name to our smallest private dining space, the Bull Room. With leaded windows that offer a unique view of Shakespeare's Globe as well as across the River Thames and onto St. Paul's Cathedral, this space is ideal for business lunches, intimate dinners and family birthday meals. Copper and glass screens offer diners a privacy from the hustle and bustle of the main restaurant, whilst still allowing guests to enjoy the atmosphere from the main restaurant.
