The Porter Tun
The Porter Tun is one of the largest and oldest unobstructed event spaces in London. An exposed King Post timber roof giving a clear span of 60ft above a 778 square metre antique wooden floor makes it a perfect location for conferences, awards dinners, fashion shows and exhibitions. The large raised balcony is ideal for a reception area or presentation platform. It is equipped with state of the art sound system, Wifi, and fully integrated LED lighting system. This room is fully air controlled and has natural daylight. The Malt Room is able to be booked as a green room.
The King George III
On the ground floor, connected to both the Queen Charlotte and Lower Sugar Room, The King George III Room (named after his visit in 1787) has exposed brickwork, a barrel vaulted ceiling and period lanterns. The King George III Room is directly accessed from the reception (and the loading bay) and can be used alone or in conjunction with the Porter Tun as a drinks reception, catering space or exhibition area for larger events. The room has solid oak flooring and air conditioning. There is a fully integrated PA system and AMBX intelligent LED lighting with thousands of color options.

The Lower Sugar Room is often used as a reception area, the upper Sugar Room as the main meeting space. Both can be used as separate breakout spaces for larger events, or together as a more flowing event space for networking. The Sugar Rooms were where the sugar brewing used to be stored. There is plenty of natural daylight in these room through elegant feature Georgian windows that overlook the courtyard. The rooms can host up to 100 guests for a standing reception. There is solid oak flooring in both rooms and beautiful exposed wooden beams in the upper Sugar Room.
See venueThe Smeaton Vaults
The Smeaton Vaults provide an interesting, private space for parties of around 100 guests. Copper pipes around the walls and the original iron walkway reveal their brewing past but in reality these rooms couldn’t be more modern. There is a built in DB audio PA system and a large projector area and screen. The room has AMBX intelligent LED lighting that can wash the room in colour, highlight the vaulted ceiling, or interact with sounds and images. Fixed hanging points can be added for additional lighting if needed and there is direct access to the loading bay, making set up and break down easy.
See venueThe Queen Charlotte
Fully self-contained or used along with the King George III room, the Queen Charlotte can be used on its own for meetings, drinks receptions or dinners for up to two hundred guests. The space has a barrel-vaulted ceiling and exposed brickwork. It also features a built-in bar that’s hidden behind a mirrored window when not in use, This space also makes a useful breakout area for larger events hosted in the King George III. This room has LED lighting in the ceiling, allowing for colour washes, air conditioning, and there's a built-in DB audio PA system.

The Brewery's James Watt Room is a fully self-contained venue within a larger venue that is ideal for meetings, workshops, and training events. With a capacity for 50 to 90, it's also well-suited as a breakout space for conferences held in the larger rooms. Our event designers are at your disposal to help organise and manage your event, freeing you up to concentrate on making your meeting or seminar productive and successful. The venue offers high speed Wifi, an integrated PA system, and customisable signage. Catering and beverages are available onsite, as well.

Each summer, The Brewery, courtyard is transformed with two themed marquees from June to August. This year will see the arrival of a kitsch polynesian paradise in the heart of the city. Complete with a rasied clear roof the two marquees will be transformed into a fun and exotic tiki joint perfect for giving the long summer evenings a retro tropical twist. When the sun goes down, the party continues at the after party inside. The Brewery, from 9pm. All this, including food and drink, is part of your party package.
